The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine received the first missiles and anti-tank systems Javelin from USA.
In December of 2017 President Donald trump approved the sale of lethal defensive weapons for Ukraine. A few days later a press-the Secretary of the U.S. Department of state Heather Nauert announced that the United States intends to send to a country in the East where fighting is going on, and anti-tank systems Javelin to strengthen the defense. The Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak expressed gratitude to Poroshenko and Trump for applications of efforts and also reported that the preparation of calculations Javelin will begin on may 2.
