November 25 in the sea of Azov, the ships of the Russian border service rammed the tug naval forces of Ukraine and opened fire on them, Among Ukrainian soldiers are wounded. Over the Strait there was a combat aircraft of the Russian Federation. The President of Ukraine assembles a Council of war.
Three Ukrainian boat (two boats and a tug) went from Odessa to Mariupol in transit through the Kerch Strait. As reported the UNIAN, in command of the Navy assured them that «intention to transfer in advance was informed by the Russian side in accordance with international standards to ensure the safety of navigation.
In accordance with articles 17, 38 of the UN Convention on the law of the sea and article 2 of the Agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on cooperation in using the Azov sea and the Kerch Strait, military ships of Ukraine enjoy freedom of navigation and therefore can make the passage across the Kerch Strait at any time subject to the security of navigation.»
However, at a meeting of Ukrainian ships has left at least five ships of the border service of FSB of the Russian Federation. Various sources report the presence in the sky over the scene of two Russian combat helicopters Ka-52.

Russian officials called the incident a Ukrainian provocation. In the Russian media have reported the transfer in the area of Kerch combat aircraft and additional ships, and the closure of the Strait for the civil courts.
