In the broadcast American TV channel CNN that the President trump is often accused of creating «fake news» occupied Simferopol called a Russian city.
During the broadcast of a story about the celebration of the New year around the world there is the Central square of the capital of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Under it was written that this city belongs to Russia, and the source indicated the Russian state news Agency TASS.
«We hope that our friends at CNN will be better to check the facts and choose the content. Simferopol — the Ukrainian city on the Crimean Peninsula occupied by Russia», — said the press service of the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States in a tweet.

In dipvedomstva also urged the channel not to continue to follow the Russian scenario.
In June, the site BuzzFeed, citing sources, reported that trump said to the leaders of the «Big seven» that the Crimea is Russian, because everyone there speaks Russian.
Recall that in 2014, Russian troops invaded the Crimea, belonging to Ukraine. The Russian government has organized a bogus «referendum», according to which the Peninsula was Russian. The authorities of Ukraine, USA and EU countries do not recognize this vote and consider Crimea annexed by Russia.
