Jason Spindler, a graduate of the University of Texas, received his doctorate from new York University. He then served in the U.S. peace Corps in Northern Peru. In Kenya, Spindler worked as an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup and has advised more than 100 small and medium enterprises.
The state Department has not said how it killed the American.
