Local authorities reported that as a result of the major attack over the last 4 years has killed at least 14 people. After a 20-hour siege, the terrorists were destroyed. The U.S. state Department confirmed that among the dead are a US citizen. They found Jason Spindler, founder and managing Director of I-DEV International. As reported in the company, he sought to give impetus to business development in countries such as Kenya.

The mother of a dead American, Sarah Spindler, told NBC News that her son «tried to make a positive change in third world countries in emerging markets.»

Jason Spindler was infectiously curious, empathetic, adventurous, and effective at making the changes he wanted to see in the world. He was a generous friend to me and so many worldwide. Jason Spindler, a graduate of the University of Texas, received his doctorate from new York University. He then served in the U.S. peace Corps in Northern Peru. In Kenya, Spindler worked as an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup and has advised more than 100 small and medium enterprises.

The state Department has not said how it killed the American.

Terrorist organization «Harakat al-Shabab», which is a branch of «al-Qaeda» is behind the deaths of hundreds of people in Kenya. The most deadly was the attack on the University College Garissa.
