Trump gave advice on how to extinguish Notre Dame, but the French said it was a bad idea

The French authorities did not remain silent in response to the proposal of the President of the United States Donald trump about how he should extinguish the burning of the Notre Dame Cathedral.

Monday, April 15, trump suggested the use of flying tankers to dump tons of water on the historic building.

French noted that this idea can sustain a even greater damage than the fire itself.

When the fire started, which was broadcasted on hundreds of channels around the world, the President of trump tweeted from Burnsville (Minnesota): «you May need to use a flying tankers with water. You need to act quickly!»

When the French media showed a tweet in the broadcast, responded, and authorities, indicating that the mass of water dropped from aircraft, may eventually cause the destruction of the Cathedral.

«All means are used, in addition to aircraft, discharge of water which may lead to collapse of the entire structure of the Cathedral,» — said the Agency for civil security and crisis management of the Ministry of internal Affairs of France.

French authorities have posted a tweet in English.

Hundreds of firemen of the Paris Fire Brigade are doing everything they can to bring the terrible #NotreDame fire under control. All means are being used, except for water-bombing aircrafts which, if used, could lead to the collapse of the entire structure of the cathedral.

Today, April 16, a fire in an ancient Cathedral were extinguished. The fire broke out around 19 p.m. Monday. Soon the roof of the Cathedral and 90-meter spire (295 feet) collapsed.

No fatalities, but injured three firefighters.

Now there are architects and construction experts who examined the design of the Cathedral to determine the extent of the damage. The President of France Emmanuel macron said the country will launch a global campaign to raise funds for the restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral.
