40-year-old Anna Gava from Ukraine — mother of girl with rare form of dwarfism — has denied claims that her daughter — adult «sociopath» masquerading as a child.
Natalie Barnett, whose height less than 1 meters, is located in the centre of an unusual criminal case: her foster parents, Christine and Michael Barnett, accused of mistreatment of a child. The couple allegedly left his daughter alone in the apartment in Lafayette (Indiana) and moved to Canada.
But Barnett insists on his innocence and claim that they are the real victims. With their words, cute «six year old», which they adopted in 2010, actually — 22-year-old sociopath pretending to be a child with a severe mental illness. The couple stated that vocabulary girl was ahead of her age, and Natalie had often threatened the family with violence.

Anna, who divorced the child’s father before she was born, says he later learned that the social service named the girl Natasha. It was placed in an orphanage, where she remained for five years. Later called Anna and said that her daughter is going to adopt an American couple.
«They showed a photo and asked me not to interfere,— Anna remembers. I was told that they do the surgery, which I can’t afford it. They said the surgery will cost about $80 thousand».
According to prosecutors, Natalia was indeed a minor child and «dependent» from the Barnett, when they moved to Canada. The couple insists that by the time Natalia is legally considered an adult once in the past year they received a court order for change of birth date girls from 4 September 2003 to 4 September 1989, citing medical experts.
Christine and Michael Barnett say that she attacked other children, poured in the coffee whitener and have threatened to kill members of the family and to hide their bodies in the backyard.
Now Natalia lives in the family of 36-year-old pastor Antwone Mansa and 39-year-old Cynthia. The couple has 5 children.

«I’d like to tell Natasha that I really want to see her. I hope that when she turns 18, she will travel to Ukraine and find me. I wanted to hug her and apologize,» said Anna.
