He told reporters in Nicosia, the Minister of internal Affairs Constantinos Petrides, the process applies to investors who received a total of 26 passports, including members of their families.

According to the representative of the government, a decision to revoke the citizenship of Cyprus will spread to nine Russians, eight Cambodians, five Chinese, two Kenyans, one Iranian and one Malaysian.

According to the Minister, Cyprus will also check all persons, who received about 4,000 passports in the framework of the program, and the government intends to ensure strict compliance with and implementation of the investment programme.

Recall that for obtaining a passport is required to invest 2 million euros in real estate in the country, or 2.5 million euros in the company or government bonds.
