On Saturday, activist and environmentalist has shared another post — a photo of a possum Blossom who died, suffered during a fire, despite the fact that the hospital «tried so hard to save his life.»

Steve Irwin, the TV host known as «the crocodile Hunter», was killed in 2006 after he was stung by a Stingray off the North coast of Australia.

Blossom is just one of the many animals who died in the terrible fires in Australia. Almost a third of koalas in the Australian region of New South Wales, presumed dead, officials said.

On Saturday, three forest fire «merged» into one, which became an area larger than Manhattan in new York.

At least 24 people were killed in fires in Australia, and only in the state of New South Wales was destroyed more than 1,300 homes.
