Briton arrested for impersonating a teenage boy on the Internet

21-year-old Gemma watts from Britain were arrested on charges of sexual crimes against minors.

The woman was hiding under the image of a 16-year-old boy named Jake Waton. In November she was found guilty of seven sexual offences against minors, including four girls.

According to police, watts used his quite a believable way in order to establish relationships with young girls. Suspect was a professional hunter: presumably from her hands suffered about 50 is not yet known victims. Watts began his hunt just liking pictures of girls in Snapchat or Instagram before you send them a flattering message, calling «babe» or other sweet words.

«Soon she started to form a physical relationship, where she created web of lies and deceit that gave her the opportunity to commit a sexual offence.» says detective Phillip Kenwright. «Her arrest, and now a long time behind bars did not allow her to look for new victims, but I hope it gives confidence to other victims of sexual exploitation that perpetrators will be brought to justice.»

According to police, the girls believed that a relationship with 16-year-old boy. In some cases, watts and her victim were Dating for a few months. According to the detective Kenwright, many of the girls had no doubt that seeing «Jake», while they contacted the police.

«It changed the lives of many victims. For some girls it was their first relationship.» — says the detective.

The first reports on criminal actions of watts appeared in April 2018. Dr. Hampshire said that one of his patients had been sexually abused by her boyfriend «Jake Watana».

Living in London Gemma watts continued to meet with the girls, despite the fact that he knew he was under investigation for many months. Watts does not explain their actions and refuses to admit guilt.
