The Chinese Ambassador apologized for what he compared the ban on entry to other countries of the Chinese Holocaust

The acting Chinese Ambassador to Israel apologized after comparing the closure of some countries ‘ borders with China with the persecution of Jewish refugees during the Holocaust.

Informed Give Yimin said at a press conference in tel Aviv that «restrictions or even a ban on the entry of Chinese citizens to other countries» reminded him of «stories that happened during the Second world war, during the Holocaust, the darkest days in the history of mankind.»

«Millions of Jews were killed and many Jews were denied when they tried to seek help in other countries. Only very, very few countries have opened their doors, and among them was China,» said Dai.

Later, the Chinese Embassy in Israel issued a statement which said that «there was no intention to compare the Holocaust with the current situation and efforts made by the government of Israel to protect its citizens.»

«We would like to apologize if someone misunderstood our message,» said the Embassy.

Last Thursday, Israel halted direct flights to China, and the Israel Ministry of health authorized the agents of border control to deny entry into the country neutraility, who visited China in the last two weeks.

Israeli citizens returning from China, was instructed to stay home under quarantine for two weeks.

The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that he had instructed the country’s Ministry of health to develop the vaccine from a fast-spreading coronavirus.

We will remind also that last week the world celebrated the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp.
