The driver survived after falling off a cliff into the sea at a speed of 200 km per hour

The man survived, having moved down from the cliff into the sea at a speed of 200 km per hour. According to police, the driver was under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

The incident occurred on the morning of 9 February in Mallorca, when 26-year-old driver drove into the pedestrian area at speed of 200 km per hour, lost control and drove off the cliff directly into the sea. Passing cyclists who witnessed the fall, showed bravery and immediately jumped into the water to help a grief-the driver. At the same time, eyewitnesses reported the incident to authorities, and police, Spanish civil guard and local firefighters went to the scene.

When rescuers went to the water, the car is totally submerged. Fortunately, inside it there were no passengers. The driver,whose name was not called, was taken with injuries in hospital Sleep Espases, after which his condition was not reported. It soon became known that he had confessed to using drugs and alcohol before getting behind the wheel.

The police charged the driver in violation of traffic safety, dangerous driving and driving under the influence of substances.
