A former Rugby player set fire to the wife and three children in the car, and then killed himself

A terrible event shook the whole of Australia when the former player of the National Rugby League in New Zealand Rowan Baxter was set on fire in the car his wife Hannah Clark and three children, then committed suicide.

The tragedy occurred on Wednesday, February 19 in Brisbane, Australia near the house of Hannah. A former Rugby player, 42-year-old Rowan Baxter, attacked a woman and their three children in the car, then doused it with gasoline and set on fire. Despite the fact that Clark jumped out of the burning car and attracted the attention of neighbors who rushed to help, her or three children could not be saved. Baxter, who received severe burns, had committed suicide near the car.

At the scene police found the body of Baxter, which inflicted several stab wounds with a knife, and locked in the car children: 6-year-old alia, a 4-year Liano and 3-year-old Trey. Hannah was hospitalized with severe burns of the entire body, but despite the efforts of doctors, the woman died.

Devastating news out of Camp Hill. My heart goes out to the families and community going through this tragic time and the emergency responders confronting what would be a shattering scene. If you or anyone you know needs support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14. https://t.co/qJDieLMRiN

Before the incident, Hannah’s parents repeatedly reported that the conduct of Baxter’s more of them «scary.» According to his family, the man had a restraining order against Hannah and children more than 20 meters after he attacked Clark, but the man repeatedly hacked into the mobile of the spouse, tracking her whereabouts. At the time of the tragedy Rowan and Hannah, who were joint owners of the gym were fighting and lived separately.

More than 40 people gathered on February 20 at the site of the tragedy, to honor the memory of deceased family, laying flowers to the memorial. However, a terrible tragedy touched the heart of not only relatives and friends of the family: Savannah — dog Baxter is going through the terrible loss of their favorite hosts. After the incident, it was sheltered a close family friend Dave Kramer, who worked as a trainer at the gym Rowan and Hannah. In the Instagram he posted a photo, which is sad Savannah along with several dogs looking at the sky.

«She found new friends after losing everyone she loved.» — written by Dave in his post.

«I still don’t want to believe it. When I woke up this morning with their dog, lying in my bed, I realize it’s not just a nightmare, and all I can do is lay here and hug her and cry.» — shares heartbroken Dave.
