The man found in his house a huge «spider-monster» and took a photo

We all know that Australia is a country with a high concentration of animals that are either deadly, or just terrible. And a recent photograph, taken in Queensland, proves that.

Australian resident posted on Reddit a photo of a giant of cropredy of nephila. This is a large genus of spiders, weaving the great web. They are known under different names: banana spider (banana spiders), golden silk orb-weavers (zolotopromy), giant wood spiders, etc.

In their sticky network collect spiders, flies, beetles, locusts, wood moths and cicadas. It is also known that this species can even eat small birds and bats that get tangled in their web.

Fortunately, they are not too harmful to humans, although still poisonous.

The venom has a neurotoxic effect similar to that of the black widow. The bite causes local pain, redness and blisters, which are usually held during the day. In rare cases, the bite can cause allergic reactions, and asthmatic breathing difficulties. In addition, the bite may leave a small scar on thin skin (e.g. fingers).

Although the venom is not lethal Zolotaryov, their size is enough to scare many people, especially arachnophobes.

One commenter on Reddit said, a couple of years ago he ran the Cape Hillsborough and solotopia wove its web right over the trail.

«I stuck my head in the yellow web. Felt like giant legs crawling on my head. I terribly screamed. Never in my life have I been so scared,» wrote a man.
