Eaten by a pig pedometer was the cause of a fire on the farm

Firefighters were forced to «save the bacon» and to extinguish the fire in the pig pen on the farm in Britain after being eaten by a pig pedometer set fire to dry hay, when «nature has taken its toll».

Sunday, March 8, around 14:00 the fire brigade arrived at the farm, located in the village of Braham in Leeds. Firefighters extinguished the fire in the hog pen, which occurred under highly unusual circumstances. According to the fire Service and rescue North Yorkshire, the cause of ignition was the quality of the copper from the batteries which is mixed with the excrement of pigs and dry hay resulting in a fire. This was the fire service said in his Twitter.

It is reported that the pedometers on batteries wore pigs who put on them by their owner to prove that the animals are free-range. A pedometer worn by one of the pigs was eaten by another pig.

As a result of fire, no animals were harmed.
