The driver escaped from the isolation and drove 170 miles to «take a break from the wife and kids»

The driver from the UKwho was stopped by police on Easter Sunday, told the police that he had to leave the house to take a break from his wife and children during the quarantine. He drove about 170 miles.

In addition, representatives of Alliance Roads Policing (the official Twitter account for the police force of Devon, Cornwall and Dorset) told about one case of violation of the order, «stay at home».

So, one driver bought and went to collect a used boat.

Driving across the county (and then breaking down on a hill) to collect the second hand boat you just bought is not an essential journey either. Driver reported near Bodmin. 6648 pic.twitter.com/hYX1Z39Pl9

One commenter tweet under police wrote:

«Well done, thank you so much for that save us from the ignorant and stupid who consider themselves above the rules.»

Another added: «I bet he had a sinking feeling when you are moored next!».

Similar incidents happen across the country. In Cumbria, people have tried to go out this weekend.

Cumbria police also stopped four men in a taxi, travelling from Leeds to the Lake District on Easter Sunday.

«Unfortunately, this is no joke, and they laughed when we escorted them back to the border of Lancashire. We are on duty around the clock, so don’t try to escape. Stay at home means stay home,» — noted in police.
