A mother who wanted to donate liver to his 27-year-old son, learned that it was not her child

The mother who had planned to donate my liver dying son, learned that she was given the wrong baby nearly 28 years ago.

A resident of China named Xu, and her husband, Yao, learned this shocking news when their 27-year-old son Abin was sick and he was diagnosed with liver cancer at the last stage.

The doctors said that can only help a liver transplant, and Mrs Xu has agreed to be a donor.

But after checking in Zhongshan Hospital in Shanghai, doctors found that Xu although healthy, her blood type did not match the blood type of her son. After DNA analysis , it became clear that Abin was not her biological child.

Xu gave birth to a son on 15 June 1992 when she was working in the city of Kaifeng of Henan province. Abin was one of three boys who were born in Huaihe Hospital of Henan University that day.

Somehow the staff mixed up the children, and with Xu Yao was given the wrong baby at discharge.

Their biological son, identified only as «Ava», was transferred to another family, Mr. and Mrs. Th, who live in the city of Zhumadian. They also just recently learned that brought baby to another couple.

Xu and her husband decided not to tell Old. They think that it might affect his health.

«When I contacted the biological mother of Sabine, she told me that he is a carrier of hepatitis B. Her son was supposed to high-dose hepatitis b vaccine shortly after birth, but instead she was incorrectly assigned to my son. That left Sabine with severe cancer at such a young age,» said Xu.

From Sabine still has a chance of survival if a donor is found.

Commission for a hospital in Calpine launched an investigation and considering what kind of compensation you can provide to families.
