Prime Minister Boris Johnson in the sixth time became the father

The bride-to-be Prime Minister of great Britain Boris Johnson Carrie Simonds gave birth to a boy early in the morning on April 29 in a London hospital.

Press Secretary to the Prime Minister said that both the mother and the baby is fine.

The leader of the opposition, MP keyr Starmer, congratulated the Prime Minister, writing on Twitter: «Great news. Congratulations to Boris Johnson and Carrie Simonds».

The Chancellor of the exchequer Rishi Sunak also wrote in social networks: «it’s Nice to hear that Downing street has a new resident. Congratulations on the birth of a son.»

55-year-old Boris Johnson returned to work Monday after a three week absence due to coronavirus.

Being infected with coronavirus, the Prime Minister spent several days in intensive care, but is back, and this week issued a statement which said there were indications that the country «turned the tide».

Child – first child for 32-year-old Carrie Simonds and sixth for Boris Johnson. The boy had to be born in early summer.

Boris Johnson has previously stated that he intends to take leave to care for a child within two weeks after the birth of her son, but it is unclear if he will do it, given the severity of the ongoing global pandemic.

Former Prime Ministers of great Britain David Cameron and Tony Blair also took leave to care for a child.

When a few months ago, Johnson and Symonds announced the pregnancy Carrie, the couple also announced their intention to get married, although the wedding date has not yet been appointed.
