A small child who disappeared from his Missouri home last week was able to safely return to his family thanks to a homeless pit bull he stumbled upon on the street. The dog guarded the boy until he was noticed by one of the local residents, who hurried to the kid to help.
A woman, who wished to remain anonymous, said that she was walking her dogs in one of the areas of St. Louis when she spotted young Hamorion Taylor in the middle of the road. She spent the next few hours knocking on door after door, but no one recognized Taylor.
Fortunately, the photo of the child, posted by the good Samaritan woman on social networks, caught the eye of his father — who was soon reunited with Hamorion. As for the pit bull, he may soon find a new family: the St. Louis Police Department.
“We need to stick together and help each other, like our grandparents once did. — notes the woman who came to Taylor's aid — It is important to create a sense of unity.
