The FBI said detectives were able to stave off a conspiracy by the far-right group to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer at her country home ahead of the November 3 elections.
Six suspects — Adam Fox, Barry Croft, Ty Garbin, Caleb Franks, Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta — were arrested Wednesday, according to documents. They will be charged with conspiracy to kidnap.

Trump has spoken out in the past in support of far-right groups that oppose the movement for racial justice and self-isolation during the pandemic, and in April called for the «liberation» of Michigan on his Twitter.
