Experts say Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda or Dodge are the deadliest cars in the United States.

According to a report by Horwitz Horwitz and Associates, these five car manufacturers were involved in the deadliest accidents in the past 12 months. Researchers took data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and found that the Chevrolet Silverado became the deadliest car in the country: the make and model was related to road accidents that killed 1,774 people in a year.

5. Honda Civic
