Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to Donald Trump's questioning of her university education by saying that «many people without degrees» would have done better in the presidency.
The president mentioned Ocasio-Cortez during a rally in Lititz, Pennsylvania on Monday, criticizing him for the Green New Deal.
“I don't think she studied the environment in college. Trump said. «She went to college, right?»
I could say yes, but who cares? Plenty of people without college degrees could run this country better than Trump ever has.

“I could answer yes, but who cares? — replied Ocasio-Cortez on her Twitter — «A lot of people without higher education would be able to govern the country better than Trump will ever be able to.»
“Republicans love to complain about the so-called elite, but they are the ones who constantly mock people who have not graduated from college, calling them idiots. This is a disgusting manifestation of class segregation. «
“The more college tuition costs rise, the more advanced degrees talk about privilege rather than competence. She added. «It would be better for our country if we made public colleges free and canceled the payment of student debt.»
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez graduated from Boston University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics.
