Trump condemned the FBI for investigating the incident with his supporters chasing Biden's campaign bus

In Texas, supporters of President Trump surrounded a bus carrying members of Biden's campaign, eventually prompting Democrats to cancel the event. The FBI confirmed that it was «aware of the incident and is investigating» — and the incumbent's reaction was not long in coming.

On Sunday night, Trump retweeted a screenshot of the FBI's statement saying, “In my opinion, these patriots did nothing wrong. It would be better if the FBI and the Justice Department investigate [the actions of] terrorists, anarchists and ANTIFA agitators who run and burn cities ruled by Democrats and harm our people! «

In my opinion, these patriots did nothing wrong. Instead, the FBI & Justice should be investigating the terrorists, anarchists, and agitators of ANTIFA, who run around burning down our Democrat run cities and hurting our people! https://t.co/of6Lna3HMU

An FBI spokesman declined to comment on the tweet.

Videos posted on Twitter show a group of cars and pickup trucks, many of which are adorned with flags and symbols in support of Trump. They ride alongside the Biden campaign bus heading from San Antonio to Austin, blocking traffic from time to time. At one point, one of the pickups can be seen colliding with an SUV following the bus.

Neither Biden nor Senator Kamala Harris was on the bus. The campaign canceled the event later that day.
On Saturday, Trump tweeted a video of his supporters chasing a bus, writing, «I love Texas!»
