Whatever the motivation of a resident of Idaho who tried to cook chicken in a hot spring in Yellowstone National Park, he must have already regretted his decision many times.

On September 10, two years after the crime, the man pleaded guilty to several charges, including a violation of the rules of conduct in the area of the sources, according to East Idaho News.

The defendant and 2 other suspects were detained on August 7, 2018 after the management of the park was informed of a group of 10 people heading to the Shoshone geyser pool with kitchen utensils. Presumably, a child was with them.

Upon arrival, the rangers found the suspects with two chickens in a bag placed in a hot spring.

An Idaho Falls resident, whose name has not been released, was sentenced to two years of probation without supervision. All this time he will be prohibited from visiting Yellowstone. In addition, the court ordered the man to pay a fine of $ 600 for each charge.
