A joint venture of General Motors starts selling the cheapest electric vehicles in the world: their cost in a base complete set — only $5329.

Supersturdy electric car Baojun E100 debuted in the Chinese market, causing a stir among buyers. The manufacturer has received 5 thousand pre-orders before the release of the first batch of vehicles.
