The history of the American athletes who were kneeling during the performance of the US national anthem in protest against racial inequality, continued.

Swept a wave of protests even before baseball.
On the Saturday match catcher «Oakland athletics» Bruce Maxwell became the first player in major League baseball who bowed the knee during the national anthem.
According to the Daily News, after the match, Maxwell told reporters his action.
«Kneel not mean disrespect to our military. This does not mean disrespect for our Constitution, for our country. My hand was on your heart because I love this country, she is the best on the planet. I knelt there for people who have no voice. Because right now we still have this racial inequality, and it is practiced at the highest state level. The Maxwell added that one should not be surprised if other sports will follow his example and example players.
