After the appearance on Governors Island, a favorite place of citizens and tourists, at the Hills last year, the management company has decided to revive other parts of the island to make them more accessible to the public.

Now the Trust for Governors Island released two ads for proposal (RFP) to attract to the island representatives of the restaurant business and the entertainment industry.
In the first Declaration, issued on 20 September, States that the island lacks a restaurant or coffee shop, which in the future will be located in a historic building on the North side of the island for up to three years.
