In new York accident involving MTA bus: 8 people hospitalized

The attempt of the police to stop the car for violation of traffic rules have led to major accidents involving public transport.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening at the intersection of Fulton street and Clinton Avenue in Brooklyn. At about 16:00 two police officers in plain clothes ordered the driver of the car brand Honda to pull over, but he hit the gas and drove on a red light.

On the way the fugitive was a bus to the new York transport authority with three passengers on Board and two cars — in the back seat of one of them were children. Before crashing into the plastic design on a dividing strip, the Honda struck all three vehicles.

Then her passenger and the driver tried to flee the scene on foot, but the latter managed to hold.

In the accident injured 8 people, including the bus driver and children. Victims with non-life threatening injuries was taken to a hospital in Brooklyn. Currently, police are investigating the incident and looking for the second suspect.
