On Saturday around 11.30 PM in the new York city police received a report of a shooting in the Park in Harlem. Leaving the place in Morningside Park at 116th Street – the police discovered that the Park held a picnic. Apparently, during the festivities there was a conflict, and the shooting started. The result – 5 men and 2 women were shot and wounded. The victims (all aged 19 to 24 years) was immediately delivered to local hospitals. Their status is not reported.
The police tried to establish a shooter’s «hot pursuit», but so far no arrests in connection with the incident was not done.
The investigation is ongoing.
