During the shooting in the mosque New Zealand, where 49 people died, the shooter was a live broadcast on Facebook

49 people died and another 20 were wounded in a shooting in two mosques in Christchurch (New Zealand). The instigator of the tragedy led to a live broadcast of the execution.

The Prime Minister , Jacinda Ardern called the incident a terrorist act and one of the «darkest days» in New Zealand.

New Zealand police said that they know «very sad footage related to the incident in Christchurch propagation in the Internet».

«We strongly urge you not to share the link. We are working hard to delete the footage,» said the law enforcement agencies.

The video was filmed on a GoPro camera attached to the helmet on the head of the arrow. The man behind the camera says: «Let’s get this party started», and then enters the mosque and open fire on anyone who finds inside. The 17-minute video ends with the militant went to a beige Subaru.

Company Facebook said that deleted accounts arrow in Facebook and Instagram and is working on removing any copies of the footage.

That’s what we know about the shooting at the moment:

  • The casualties: 41 people were killed in the mosque of al-Nur. 7 Muslims killed in the mosque of Lynnwood. Another man died from his injuries in the hospital.
  • The suspects: police said that four people were taken into custody — three men and one woman. At the moment there is no information on other suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
  • Allegations: police said that one man (20 years old) have already been charged with murder. He appeared in court in Christchurch tomorrow, March 15.
  • Manifest. A member of the house of representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized the National rifle Association of the United States after a violent incident in New Zealand. The trendsetter of new York condemned the attack, focusing on the weapon group.

Ocasio-Cortez added that he admires the Prime Minister of New Zealand Kasindol Ardern.
