Monday, December 23, in California arrested the driver, dressed in a Santa Claus who crashed into parked cars and fled the scene.
Kris Kringle was driving the Subaru Crosstrek at around 1:30 when he rammed several cars parked in CHULA Vista.
Witnesses said that the man then left his vehicle and ran, leaving the injured passenger, who was thrown from a car on the street.
«He was fully dressed as Santa Claus, and I saw how he got out of the car, and I saw how he ran… like «Bad Santa»,» said one witness, referring to a 2003 Comedy with Billy Bob Thornton in the lead role.
The driver left part of his costume and identity card inside Crosstree. As a result, police found the driver at his home and was taken into custody on unspecified charges.
Kringle was taken to the hospital in order to pass a test for driving under the influence.
The passenger also brought to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
