Boeing drew in the air a plane half the size of USA

This is not a Declaration of love, written with the aircraft in the sky.

To pass the time during a routine test flight, a team of Boeing pilots used their directions to draw a giant plane, a simplified copy of the machine on which they were flying — 787-800 Dreamliner. The picture they drew, captured 22 state of the United States, and to create resourceful pilots spent 18 hours flying time.

This #Dreamliner has been drawing a giant #Dreamliner for 13 hours now!

In his statement, the representative of Boeing said that the nose drawn plane indicates the region of Puget where there is a division of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Wings extend from Northern Michigan near the canadian border to South Texas. Tail for Huntsville, Alabama.
It is unknown how the unique flight path responded to the dispatcher. But users of the website Flightradar24, where you can track aircraft, managed to capture the moment when the pilots turned almost fully to complete the plane (except for the rear edge of the starboard side).

This is not the first time Boeing pilots show their creative flair. Back in February, during a test flight of the Boeing 737 Max, made a similar maneuver, writing in the sky the nickname of the plane.

This isn’t the first time @BoeingAirplanes has used an endurance flight test to accomplish a bit of sky art. https://t.co/d6iq77uUxf pic.twitter.com/He8lfwIIxy
