Bank Wells Fargo opened about 3.5 million fake accounts

Bank Wells Fargo, which is part of the «big four» banks in the United States, reported that the number of potentially unauthorized accounts of their customers made 3.5 million on 1.4 million more compared to the initial estimate.

Experts have identified a total of about 3.5 million potentially unauthorized accounts.

«We apologize to all those affected by unacceptable methods of sales that have occurred in our Bank, – said General Director of Wells Fargo Tim Sloan. – To restore confidence and improve Wells Fargo, our first priority is to do everything possible for our customers.»

Previously Wells Fargo paid about $ 180 million for the settlement of claims Federal authorities and the authorities of the state of California.
