7 million pounds of hot dogs recalled due to bone

A great summer! You already enjoy the sun and BBQ? If Yes, then better you abandon the hot dogs, as the USDA announced the recall of 7 million pounds of hot dogs because they contained pieces of bones.

According to a press release from the USDA, the Bronx»s Marathon Enterprises Inc (the company behind Sabrett hot dogs) withdrew 7 084 196 pounds of hot dogs with beef and pork, «which may contain foreign matter, especially pieces of bone».

Beef and pork, which was used in hot dogs, have been bought by people from 17 March to 4 July this year. Full list of products, which is meat, can be found on fsis.usda.gov. Customers who have purchased this substandard product, may require reimbursement sabrett.com.

USDA reported that because hot dogs already, one person received a slight injury of the oral cavity. According to Gothamist, the representatives of the Sabrett announced that the company «deeply regrets the concern and inconvenience that she caused to customers».
