A wedding is always stressful, but for thousands of brides across America, this stress has increased manifold after the brand Alfred Angelo Bridal has announced its bankruptcy.
Alfred Angelo Bridal is a chain of stores of wedding fashion. In the United States were about 60 stores and 1,400 shopping centres around the world sold wedding dresses of this brand. The company has existed since 1933.
«I kept calling the office, but so far no answer,» — says a resident of Chicago, Ali Epstein, who have already paid for my dress.
According to ABC, at Alfred Angelo Bridal said that the company tries to dispatch all orders that have already been paid, but there is no guarantee that they will be delivered at the right time.
In Brideside, the Chicago store for brides, about 1,500 girls affected by the closure of Alfred Angelo Bridal. The store said that they would try to help every bride.
«We will take care to find them new dresses,» said the Brideside founder Sonali Lamba.
Other American chain stores of wedding dresses are also trying to help by making a 30% discount to affected customers.
