On Wednesday, the company Amazon announced the discovery of 50 000 new jobs across the country. The statement comes amid increasing tensions on the labour market, because there are school fairs and touristic shopping. Many retailers need the help of additional staff, both seasonal and permanent.
Amazon.com Inc. doors will open for applicants on August 2nd, next Wednesday, 10 delivery centers, including centers in Robbinsville and new Jersey. Most of the jobs will be full time. In sorting centers will also be available for more than 10 000 vacancies for part-time, auxiliary and some management positions.
In January, Amazon said it wants to hire 100 000 workers full time within the next 18 months. Since then, the company has announced the new vacancies, including plans to add 900 jobs in Boston and 1,600 in Michigan.
The company says that the new jobs involve «highly competitive» pay and health insurance, disability insurance, retirement savings plan and the various actions of the company. Among other benefits up to 20 weeks paid leave and programs such as Ramp Back that give new mothers more freedom in choosing the time at which they are ready to get to work.
