The death toll from hurricane Irma in the United States continues to grow. As reported by ABC News, is now known to be at least 31 killed in three States – Florida, South Carolina and Georgia.
Most of those killed in Florida – 24. Of these, eight died in a nursing home in Hollywood, Broward County, after the hurricane is off the air-conditioning system and ventilation.

Federal Agency for emergency situations said Tuesday night that up to 25 percent of homes in the Florida Keys were destroyed, and 65 percent of the houses suffered serious damage.
The Department of transportation of Florida notes that all 42 of the bridge along the highway. 1 (the only road in the Keys) tested and cleared of debris and garbage.
Sean Sims, who lives on the island of Islamorada for 15 years, says he believes residents of the Florida Keys.
«We are not going to wait until someone will come here and do it for us. People around here are going to start cleaning themselves and to help each other,» he said. «These people have seen a hurricane. Irma is one of the worst, but always comes a new, even stronger».
