The suspect who on Friday for no reason started beating the 90-year old man in Inwood, was arrested last night.
According to police, 19-year-old Saul Nunez of Bronx taken into custody for 2 counts of felony assault, 1 for criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the attack with a cane 90-year-old man on Friday evening.
The victim, Juan Lawrence went deaf in one ear and didn’t know Nunez to attack. In The Post learned that Lawrence, a former history teacher, who came to the United States from Cuba and now works as a butcher in Harlem.
Lawrence told reporters: «He hit me with a stick. I don’t know who it was. He is young and thin. He continued to beat me… I don’t understand how someone just for no reason can attack. These people are dangerous.»
