Two new York schools were evacuated because of false threats

The students and staff of the two schools in Queens has been a difficult start to the week. Monday educational institution evacuated because of two unrelated incidents.

Teachers and hundreds of students of high school No. 164, located near the intersection of 77th Avenue and 138th street, had to quickly leave the building, as unknown said on the phone that included in it the bomb will explode in 10 minutes. A Wake-up call came in at 11:00, when about 700 students were in the classroom. The threat proved to be false, and explosions after it was not followed.

At the same time in another part of the borough, there was another PE — Queens Vokasional & technical high school in Sunnyside evacuated due to a triggered fire alarm. As it turned out, the incident was deliberately provoked by a few students. Jokers managed to disrupt classes, but not for long — already at 11:45 the room is checked, and the lessons resumed.
