School bus accident: injured 17 students

Seventeen students were taken to hospital with various minor injuries after the accident at road Route 17 in new Jersey. Authorities report that the incident involved at least two school buses.

About 180 students of the school No. 11 in Passaic went on a tour in the Museum Village in upstate new York when a bus crashed into a guardrail on the North side of the highway in the city of MAVA.

Police say the cause of the accident was debris on the road. Package with some items fell under the wheels of the first bus, which then crashed into the second. In one of the buses crashed back window.
Rescuers helped the children to get out of the buses. Seventeen of them received serious injuries, was taken to hospital Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Authorities say that students mostly got off with bruises and grazes.

Pablo muñoz, head of public schools of the city of Passaic, said that all the other students returned to their school, and their parents were contacted individually to inform them that they can pick them up. The parents of the hospitalized students were immediately informed about the incident.
