High school student in Hoboken, new Jersey, is under arrest after he sexually assaulted his classmate in the bathroom.
According to police, 18-year-old Amir Goodwin forced the 17-year-old girl to commit a sexual act. Allegedly watched several classmates, and the Goodwin filmed a video of violence on your mobile phone. The incident occurred during school hours, and school cameras were able to record the fact of sexual assault.
Goodwin faced a number of charges, including criminal sexual contact, criminal restriction of freedom, sexual assault with aggravating circumstances, conspiracy and endangerment of the welfare of the child.
Lawyer Adrien Edwards said he would insist that the contact was not built on reciprocity: «I want to make it very clear that he (the suspect is approx. ed.) is not the recipient, because it is a very serious accusation».
Police have arrested three teenagersinvolved in the offense. One of them,17-year-old boy, was charged with sexual assault, committed under aggravating circumstances, and kidnapping. Two 16-year-old juvenile suspected in the conspiracy, and, as in the first case, sexual assault, committed under aggravating circumstances.
The Prosecutor of Hudson County Esther Suarez commented on the case of teenagers: «Children in school should feel safe, and parents need to be confident in their safety. We will continue to investigate and will certainly lead the case in full».
All three minors were released on certain conditions. The circumstances of the incident will be dealt with in family court.
