In Phoenix arrested a serial killer

Phoenix police defused a dangerous criminal, who killed 9 people. The 35-year Klaus Cooksey, Jr., was arrested on 17 December for the murder of his own mother and stepfather, Renee Cooksey and Edward Nunn.

When the offender was already in custody, investigators found that he committed 7 murders. The connection was able to establish the ballistic examination and additional evidence.

Cooksey shortened age of all victims in the period from 27 to 17 December. Among them was the brother of his ex-girlfriend and six random people. On Thursday, police released photos of the victims, who were from 27 to 56 years. One of the victims before the murder had been robbery and another of rape.

The only thing that ties the crime is the territory in which they were committed, and the murder weapon. All the people in the photo were killed by bullets fired from the same gun either in Phoenix or its suburbs: Glendale and Goodyear.

Cooksey has recently been released from prison after serving a previous sentence. In 2001, he was sentenced to 16 years in prison for armed robbery, the victim of which died. The prisoner was released two years earlier, but soon again put behind bars for violation of parole.

Currently, investigators suspect that the criminal could die more people.
