Tonight in Brooklyn occurred dorozhno-transport incident with passenger bus. Fortunately, it already had passengers.
According to the police, we are talking about the route №58 MTA, which follows from Ridgewood to Flushing.
Approximately 00.30 bus driver parked it and gone somewhere, but not put on the «Parking brake» (in other words, the handbrake). The bus rolled down Palmetto Ave. in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
On his way he crushed some parked cars, dumped a metal fence, a Church van, then crashed into the Evangelical Lutheran Church on Knickerbocker Ave. The Church was damaged, but not critical.
«But my van has been destroyed,» says pastor Jose Quintana.
People were not injured. And the bus driver, seeing what had happened, fled the scene. Is it still not detained.
