A deadly anniversary: Ukrainian woman Tatyana, Mirutenko was the victim of a «stray bullet»

27-year-old Tatiana Mirutenko and her husband James Hoover were married a year ago in Chicago and went to Mexico to celebrate their wedding anniversary. But this trip proved fatal for couples in love…

On Saturday, July 7, the couple along with another friendly couple went in search of places to dine. And when they left the restaurant in a prestigious area of Lomas de Chapultepec past on a motorcycle drove the man who pulled a gun on a bouncer at a nearby bar. He fired several bullets, one of which accidentally hit in the head by Tatiana.

The bouncer that was shot survived and is now in hospital.

The spouse of the deceased, James returned to San Francisco on Monday (July 9) evening. The U.S. Embassy in Mexico city said that providing assistance to the family of Tatiana.

«She told me how wonderful it is, how safe it is,» he shared with ABC the grieving mother of the deceased, Natalia, one of the last conversations with her daughter.

«I miss not only my sister but also my best friend, told CNN sister Tatiana Rum. – I don’t know how I’ll live without it… But I will try to be as beautiful as she is to honor her memory.»

Famous Ukrainian artist Daniel Greene devoted a post on his page on Facebook, writing that she was «part of a big family and the daughter of a veteran.»

Not only relatives and friends shared their story about what was Tatiana in life. Her employers from Nektar Therapeutics also joined the remembrance of his former employee.
