Accident on long island: husband and wife died, 2 children suffered serious injuries

On 12 August in a car accident in the village of Brentwood (long island) killed 2 people. Five others, including children, suffered serious injuries.

Yesterday afternoon, the spouses Jimenez was driving South on Crooked Hill Road in his Toyota Corolla. Suddenly Alwyn Jimenez lost control of the vehicle, left on strip of oncoming traffic and collided with an SUV Toyota RAV4.

The driver of the passenger car and his 39-year-old wife Erica, who was riding in the front seat, died at the scene. Was in the back seat children 2 and 10 years, with serious injuries was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. Whom have died, police said.

The driver of the SUV’s 21-year-old of Alisiana Licata and two passengers, 17 and 73 years old, was taken to Southside Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The incident resulted in the road between the Long Island Expressway and the Sagtikos State Parkway was closed until six in the evening in both directions. The police investigate the accident. Both vehicles sent for examination.
