The shooting at the Mall NJ Black Friday caused chaos

In the midst of Black Friday at the Mall in Elizabeth (NJ) unknown opened fire. The incident injured one person.

According to the police Department, a report of a shooting at the Mills at Jersey Gardens appeared around 19:55.

The press Secretary of city hall, Kelly Martins said that the incident happened between Tommy Hilfiger stores and Marshalls. Martins also confirmed that during the shooting one person was wounded in the wrist. After that the Mall was evacuated.

According to mayor Chris Bollwage, at the moment no one has been arrested in connection with the incident, and the victim refuses to cooperate with law enforcement to identify the shooter. The police are viewing footage from surveillance cameras.

According to the Associated Press, Carly Disla, her boyfriend, and their daughter, who is only a month and a half, were in the clothing store Cohoes, heading to the cash registers when saw in the panic of the people.

«They shouted, «Hide, everyone, hide! They’re shooting!»» – said the eyewitness in an interview.

Disla and the baby’s father grabbed the baby from the car seat, ran to the back of the store and hid in the reception area of the goods. Shutters of the shop were down and the exits are locked. The girl with her family stayed there until 9 PM, until the police allowed them and other buyers to leave the building.

«It was a horrible experience and very traumatic,» said the girl, adding that fortunately the child was not frightened all this time the girl slept.

The shooting occurred in the busiest day of the year when thousands of Americans across the country went to the stores to find the best discounts on Black Friday.

And thanksgiving Day in one of the shopping centers of Alabama was rocked by a shooting. The result is seriously injured 18-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl. The culprit shot the officer, who was nearby.
