The Seattle police Department (Seattle Police Department — SPD) warns local residents about a dangerous serial robber, who since October, three times committed crimes. As a rule, the suspect attacked the stores of the company Baskin-Robbins shops of the Subway system.
However, in recent times the robber caught the man who not only stood up to an armed attacker with a knife, but did not allow him to steal money from the cash register. In the end, the offender took as much as $6, leaving important evidence.
As representatives of the SPD, the attempted robbery was made on November 25. At 19:00 local time to the store Baskin-Robbins has entered the black man, and, reaching into his bag, pulled out a huge knife. After that, the offender grabbed standing behind the counter, the employee behind the apron and began to threaten her, demanding to open the till.
At this point, to help the girl came to her colleague. The young man calmed the robber and pretended to unquestioningly obey him. When the guy opened the register, the attacker thought that it’s done and reached for the money. To release the arm, he put the knife on the counter, than immediately took advantage of the employee of Baskin-Robbins.
«So my coworker grabs a knife and comes with a robber in the fight. At first he thought to leave, but then turned around and climbed over the counter. He really wanted to get the money,» recalls Leslie, the girl-seller.
The young man pulled out a knife and slammed the cash register. The offender is first taken aback and panicked, but greed has overcome sense of self, and a man battled with a brave store employee.
Guy didn’t beat the attacker with a knife, but instead literally kicks pushed the robber out of the store. It should be noted that the offender was able to seize money he got as much as $6.
The police said that the act of a young boy was brave, but reckless. Previously, this same man committed two robberies, threatening staff with a gun. If he was carrying a firearm, it could end tragically.
However, due to the actions of the employee of Baskin-Robbins, the police had important evidence. On the knife seized from the offender, left his fingerprints. This should help the police in further searches of the malefactor.
