Agents also found two people who, in their opinion, were in the area to pick up the parcel and took them into custody.

«Ultralight aircraft pose a threat not only to legitimate air traffic at the border, but also to national security — said chief patrol agent Gloria I. Chavez. — These planes are capable of carrying small dangerous goods or dangerous people».

Ultralight aircraft typically represent single or twin aircraft that weigh no more than 254 pounds and can travel up to 63 miles per hour, according to the experimental aviation Association. In the US, pilots of ultralight aircraft license is required.

According to the guards, two detained persons were transferred to the Office of drug control for further investigations.
