The guy opened fire in a bar, then in a strange house, and then shot himself

Two people died and two were seriously injured in a shooting in Central Pennsylvania. Killed the shooter himself — he killed himself.

It all started after 10 p.m. on January 24 at P. J. Harrigan’s Bar & Grill on 1450 S. Atherton Street in state College, very near the main campus of Pennsylvania State University.

As reported by the local chief of police John Gardner, the grill broke young people and opened fire on the visitors. It killed 62-year-old Dean Beachy; 2 people — a man and a girl — were seriously injured. Both urgently taken to Mt. Nittany Medical Center and then transferred to another hospital. They are still in critical condition.

According to Gardner, the injured girl was a friend (current or former — unknown) hand.

The killer fled the scene, drove about 2 miles to Waupelani Drive and Whitehall Road where it lost control and crashed the car. Leaving the car, he broke into the first house where the owner was shot — 83-year-old George McCormick. The victim’s wife locked herself in the bedroom and managed to call 911.

According to police, the shooter was not familiar with these people. On a scene militiamen found a body of the arrow, he killed himself.
