The man accused of the brutal murder of a father of two children, who went missing

Monday, 28 January, 33-year-old Angelo Nesimi and his landlord have been indicted in the case of men of Staten island, missing more than a month.

40-year-old Michael Stewart was last seen December 20 last year after he visited the bar-restaurant O’neill’s, located on Forest Avenue in the area of Elm Park on Staten island, and the local Barber shop. Then he spril with another man. Thanks to the surveillance cameras were able to establish that it was Nesimi. The last communication with Stuart was the message that he sent to his mother, «Help me.»

The indictment alleges that Nesimi struck Stuart stab wounds, incompatible with life, and then disposed of the body. After that the man asked for help to domovladelec — William Formica. They cleaned house and got rid of the refrigerator, sinks, towels, sheets and floor coverings.

According to Sean Adams of WCBS 880, Nesimi showed no emotion when reading parts of the indictment. Formica was charged in an alleged cover-up. Both have pleaded not guilty.

Nesimi is already in prison for having allegedly attacked his girlfriend. According to reports, she told the police about the murder.

The investigation revealed that both men Nesimi and Stuart were associated with romantic relationships with the same woman.

Detectives searching for Stuart, at the beginning of this month, studied the evidence in a dumpster in Perth, where they found traces of DNA. In the end it led them to a landfill in Eastern Pennsylvania. After several days of sifting through piles of garbage, the police called off the search, citing dangerous conditions. Stuart is still listed as missing.

Meanwhile, 4-year-old daughter of Stuart is struggling to understand what happened, and asks where her father is.

«All we want is justice for Mike. My daughter cries about him every day,» said the girl’s mother.
