In Brooklyn the night the truck hit two cars and drove to the house

On Tuesday, around 3 a.m. in the Greenpoint, North Brooklyn, the truck crashed into the building and several nearby vehicles. The incident happened at 165 Russell Street between Nassau and Norman avenues.

Presumably to avoid hitting a cat, a truck driver turned sharply to the side, lost control and rammed two cars bumped in the house.

The landlord, ex-Californian, half-awake thought it was an earthquake of such force was the blow. In the building damaged the main staircase. Firefighters surveyed the building, however, assured that the house remains stable and does not crash.

Residents of neighboring houses note that inside the block where it happened the incident, banned the movement of trucks, which is confirmed by these signs. The driver, the culprit, said that specializiruetsya on night hauls trucks and has a lot of experience in this business.
